Frequently Asked Questions
When and where should I buy my tickets? As soon as you can! Santa Express sold out quickly in the past. Tickets will be available online only. Current St. Paul's Preschool families will be able to purchase tickets in advance of the public. What should we wear? We encourage the children to dress in holiday pajamas just as they do aboard Chris Van Allsburg’s Polar Express, but shoes are a must. Holiday attire works well, too. In addition to the time your children will have with Santa, your family will also be able to take advantage of a separate family photo area to capture a shot of your entire crew. My child may be afraid to see Santa. Are there other activities he can do? Most definitely! Santa Express offers so many fun experiences from which to choose during the two-hour session. Take a look here; you will be sure to find activities to please everyone in your family. Will it be rescheduled in case of bad weather? No. Santa Express will take place on Saturday, December 3rd even in snowy weather. Please use your best judgment if you are concerned. My relatives will be visiting that weekend. May I bring them? Of course! Grandparents seem to especially love it and also enjoy shopping at the silent auction. Anyone is welcome! Just make sure that every adult and child 24 months and older purchases a ticket in advance. My child has food allergies. What options will be available? Please know that the hot cocoa will contain milk ingredients. Other ingredient information for toppings like marshmallows and whipped cream will be available at the hot cocoa stations. Some gluten-free treats may be available; please request them at the cocoa bar. I want to bid on an auction item for my spouse but want it to be a surprise. No problem! Please make a note of how to best contact you on your bid sheet. Review the auction items in advance here. Auction items may be picked up at the preschool office the following week. How can I help? We’re so glad you asked. Would you like to donate tickets, gift cards, services, or other items to our silent auction? Contributions of any size are appreciated. Train car sponsors are also needed.
